JOURNAL | TURMERIC HELPING WITH ACHES AND PAINS

By Golden Grind

Whilst it may seem quick and easy to use pharmaceuticals to treat aches and pains, many of these commercially available drugs can have side effects when used long term.  If you are a sufferer of a long term or ongoing pain condition you have no doubt considered all the pain relief options. Alternatively, if you’re looking to avoid increasing aches and pains, taking turmeric can be an excellent preventative.

Traditionally used for thousands of years in Chinese and Ayurveda medicine, turmeric has been shown to be an effective natural pain reliever, without any of the side effects of prescription medications. Curcumin, the main active component of turmeric, reduces inflammation and stimulates the body’s natural painkillers, providing relief from arthritis, menstrual cramps, indigestion, and muscle and joint pain.

A recent review article published in the Journal of Clinical Pharmacy and Therapeutics and conducted by a team at the NEMA research group confirmed that “turmeric appears to be a possible candidate for consideration for use as a stand‐alone analgesic, or in analgesic combinations as part of opioid‐, NSAID‐ or paracetamol (acetaminophen)‐sparing strategies.” Click the link below to read more.

What our customers have said

“Cannot recommend Golden Grind’s Tumeric Capsules enough. I had a really sore and inflamed back and reduced my recovery time from 6 weeks to 4 with the help of these capsules. My mobility came back almost instantaneously.” – Susan Murcutt of Taylors Lakes

“I have always believed in traditional painkillers to help with my arthritis. My daughter bought me some of the GG capsules- I am converted! I get to the end of the day and my hands no longer ache. It feels good knowing I am doing something to reduce the inflammation, instead of just masking the pain. Ready for my next order! Thanks Golden Grind I definitely recommend to all my friends!” – Anne Hook of Southbank

“I can 100% vouch for these capsules too. I play soccer three times a week and for me personally they really help with recovery. One in the morning and one in the evening.” – Alex Griffiths of VictoriaSHOP NOW
