MATCHA BALLS

We love matcha. We love bliss balls. So we made some matcha bliss balls. Enjoy!

RECIPE
Like all of our recipes, the versatility of the MIX N MATCHA blend means you can just experiment with various ingredients and determine quantities to taste. We’ll get you started with two of our favourites, but the rest is up to your imagination!

Quantities are not an exact art when it comes to bliss balls. It depends what kind of flavours you want to bring out most and the presentation you’d like. To make sure the mixture can form into balls, you do need to ensure that there is something to bind it all together. Our favourite bases are coconut oil with protein powder and/or quinoa flakes or medjool dates.

MATCHILLA BALLS
MIX N MATCHA blend
Vanilla protein powder
Melted coconut oil
Quinoa flakes
Chia seeds
Agave/maple syrup (optional)
NUTS, BALLS, BANG!
MIX N MATCHA blend
Raw unsalted almonds
Pumpkin seeds
Desiccated coconut
Pitted medjool dates
Agave/maple syrup (optional)

METHOD
Basically, just mix all the ingredients together as desired. It needs to be moist enough to bind but not too runny that you can’t knead it into ball shape. Some recipes require a food processor or blender (i.e. if nuts are used), but some can just be mixed in a bowl.

Either way, mix all your ingredients together until they form a thick, moist mixture – not quite a dough. Refrigerate for a while to harden the mixture to make it easy to roll into balls. Then roll the balls by hand and use whatever you like for coating (we like desiccated coconut, chopped nuts, cacao, the list is endless). Enjoy!
